“Golfing Under the Big Top” brought the Circus to the IE

THURSDAY, MAY19, 2022 CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT!

The planning for IREM IE’s annual charity golf tournament began in February – the circus actually arrived on Thursday, May 19, 2021 at the Eagle Glen Golf Club. PREFERRED PAVING CO., returned as title sponsor, hosting this soldout event! Our benefitting charity, the WAVES PROJECT.org is a unique non-profit that helps wounded American veterans participate in a challenging, exciting and rewarding sport designed to facilitate the rehabilitation process of their injuries as well as rehabilitating the entire family unit. The WAVES Project encourages the veteran’s entire family and friends to be a part of the process, creating a true rehabilitation for all.

The tournament generated $6,525 for our charity! See our tournament photo gallery below -

The tournament, themed “UNDER THE BIG TOP” featured vender sponsored Premium Tees with circus acts, tigers, elephants , strong men, ring masters and a couple of fortune tellers! In addition to a perfect day on the course golfers competed in sack races, balloon darts and dunking tanks. Naturally Ring Masters kept the foursomes on the move through the course.
The 18 Premium Tees on the course were hosted by the Chapter’s Industry Partners (vendors & service providers). Diversified Asphalt won the “BEST TEE” of the tournament. United Paving Co., started the day with breakfast at the putting green – Advantage Painting Solutions hosted the Putt Your Poison competition where “putters” took what they tapped in their $5 Putts – proceeds went to our charity.

The day concluded at the 19th Hole Reception (hosted by ADCO South Roofing) and the PM Staffing - Grand Prize Reverse Raffle award of $1,000 cash giveaway!
