PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE - Dan Saldana, CPM®

Hello Inland Empire Real Estate Managers and valued IE Friends of IREM!

I am truly looking forward to what 2018 will bring to our Chapter! We’ve concluded 2017 with a recording setting gain of TWENTY-FIVE new members – leading our IREM region (California and Hawaii) in Chapter growth and we see no reason why this momentum won’t continue.

This will be my final year as your IREM Chapter President, having committed to a two-year term in 2017.

I have not always been an active member in the Chapter. I achieved my Certified Property Manager (CPM®) in 2002 and attended meetings as I was able and then over the years became less and less involved. Then in 2015, I responded to an invitation to get involved and do not regret the commitment. By serving on the Chapter Board these past two years I have renewed friendships of the past and increased my professional network of managers and service providers that are an invaluable resource for me and my company.

I continue to be amazed and pleased with the volunteer talent of our Chapter Board. Thank you 2018 Board members for stepping up and supporting the Chapter’s efforts:

  • Nick Amicone, CPM® (President Elect & CPM Admissions Chair)
  • Kim Clark, CPM® (Treasurer)
  • David Floren, ARM® (Secretary)
  • Nicole Helton, ARM® (Executive Councilor)
  • Jessica Widing, ARM® (Executive Councilor)
  • Shawn Davis-Atkins, ARM® (Executive Councilor, ARM® Admissions Chair)
  • Steve Bremer, CPM® (Executive Councilor)
  • Sarah Outerbridge, CPM® (Executive Councilor)
  • Kim Bangs, Member at Large
  • Dave Wilkinson, Member at Large

Our solid network of service providers, our Friends of IREM not only contribute to the financial success of our Chapter, but also give their time and creativity to our programs and events. Go to the Friends of IREM tab on our homepage and have the confidence that these companies have the required insurance and licenses AND have had references from two IREM certified members. They are our partners and we encourage you to develop relationships and partner with them as well.

We have added PM PROGRAMS to our calendar this year – Panel presentations that begin mid-afternoon with a showcase tradeshow of our Friends of IREM – followed by solid information on preparedness and legal issues – and we have you out by 5:30 PM.

Check out our other events and programs on the calendar on our homepage. This is what’s onboard for the first quarter -

January 24 – 2nd Annual Industry Economic Symposium & IREM Showcase
February 2 – Snow Summit Ski Day
March 15 – Annual Charity Golf Tournament – Benefitting Honoring Our Fallen
We have companies that would like to host your participation in the tournament (contact
Lyne Kridle, our IREM Director (admin@irem106.org)
